Poland: Diamante Plaza

BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland acting as the exclusive agent commenced the process of recommercialization of class A office space in the Diamante Plaza building in Kraków, Poland, on behalf of the building’s owner, Aldesa, a leading Spanish construction company.

Following a number of years with 100% take-up, the first quarter of 2018 will see the office building offer approx. 7 500 sqm of office space. The available space will include the entire second floor with the total leasable area of more than 2 700 sqm. The size of the floor and its functional layout mean that large companies from within the BPO sector as well as smaller organizations will find a suitable space in the building.

– The timeless and eye-catching design and the technical solutions applied in the building such as openable windows and sprinklers make the building extremely attractive to potential tenants – comments Adrian Bojczuk, Associate Director, Office Agency Department, BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.

In spring this year the owner of the building commenced investment works aimed at modernization of the building management system, which will contribute to optimization of service charges. Additionally, the landlord is planning to refurbish the reception area as to meet the needs of current and future tenants of the building.

- The recently concluded lease validates the attractiveness of Diamante Plaza. A company from the industrial sector has leased 560 sqm on the 3 floor of the building. Fit-out work is currently underway to modify the existing space to meet the requirements of the tenant – adds Anna Ciuła, director, Aldesa Polska Services.

The Diamante Plaza office building was completed in September 2009 as a pioneering scheme in Zabłocie, a post-industrial part of Kraków that thanks to methodical revitalization is now experiencing dynamic development. Its setting near the business district and convenient access to urban infrastructure mean that it is an ideal location for organizational expansion. There are bus and tram stops as well as a cycle path located in the direct vicinity of the building providing quick transport links to the centre of the city, the Central Railway Station and the neighbouring districts. Additionally, the Zabłocie railway station is located nearby, which offers staff another alternative manner of accessing the office.
