employees proud to work for BNP Paribas Real Estate
  • 76%
employees finding that they have a good work/personnal life balance

Ambition

- To provide a healthy, flexible and innovative working environment that promotes the well-being of employees.

Strategy

Well-being at work

- Developing flexible working arrangements as a key factor in the commitment and well-being of our employees (telework, flex-office)
- Maintain working conditions that take into account the health, safety and well-being of our employees

Even if we still lack perspective, the potential development of teleworking should see the emergence of “productive displacements”. The concept is that a trip must result in a creation of value, such as attending a major working meeting or meeting physically. In other words, a move must meet an expectation of the company or the employee. In offices, the challenge is going to be to use the spaces to their maximum capacity. This will amplify the multi-purpose spaces we were already working on and reinforce the principle of “increased square meter”

At BNP Paribas Real Estate, wellbeing is accompanied by new careers such as Hospitality Manager and Chief Happiness Officer GOOD Place to work

The health of employees remains at the heart of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s concerns. In particular, this policy reflects the Group’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4, 5, 8 and 17.

Working patterns in the coming years will be based on trust, autonomy and collaboration. It is above all a collective team approach. Based on the experience gained during the health crisis, the analysis of market practices and especially the listening of employees and managers, the Smart Working integrates four dimensions:

  • Teleworking

BNP Paribas wishes to maintain the sense of belonging to the company and the sense of the collective by maintaining an overall balance between remote work and on-site presence with a maximum of 50% telework per employee, in the activities that allow it. It is organized within a framework of benevolent management promoting the principles of double volunteering, and double reversibility (manager-collaborator). The places of realization and eligibility conditions have been extended. Equipment, compensation, flexibility of rhythms and telework formulas have been opened to ensure the development of telework taking into account the diversity of activities and the expectations of employees. Moreover, under country-specific COVID-19 health protocols, the number of days telework can be increased to comply with applicable government rules.

  • Workspaces

The hybrid organization of the teams, the emphasis on collaborative work and the real estate strategy lead the Group to continue to evolve the configuration and uses of its workspaces.

  • Digital tools

The hybrid organization of the teams, the emphasis on collaborative work and the real estate strategy lead the Group to continue to evolve the configuration and uses of its workspaces.

Support for employees towards a hybrid working mode, adaptation of managerial practices, preventive actions around the health and well-being of employees (maintenance of the social link, fight against sedentary behavior or digital fatigue, balance between professional and personal life) (See the attention paid to employees)
