BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, acting as sole agent for Allegro Group, Poland’s largest online trading platform, has advised on the process of search and negotiation of the terms for agreements for the lease of warehouse and office space. ProLogis Park Blonie, a major logistics center in the Warsaw area, has been chosen in line with the client’s specifications. Pursuant to the signed agreement, 22,000 sq m of warehouse and office space has been leased, of which nearly 9,000 square meters of distribution space will be occupied up by Allegro Group in 2017.
"The dynamics of e-commerce market development are accelerating, which translates into a need for the faster implementation of projects for major players in the sector. Effecting the transaction for Allegro required great discipline from us, due to a tight schedule," - said Katarzyna Pyś-Fabiańczyk, Head of Industrial and Logistics Department, Central and Eastern Europe, BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
"This is our second operation carried out with partners from BNP Paribas Real Estate and for the second time we felt a great understanding of our needs and substantive support at every stage of the process," - highlighted Adam Pawelczak, Head of Logistics, Allegro Group.
ProLogis Park Błonie is a distribution center consisting of seven buildings offering 152,000 square meters of high-quality warehouse and office space. The park has a strategic location, 25 kilometers west of Warsaw city center, enabling the distribution of goods both in Warsaw and the wider region. The building is located on the E30 road, connecting Western and Eastern Europe, only a few kilometers from the junction Grodzisk Mazowiecki on the A2 motorway.
"Logistics suburban parks are becoming more and more attractive locations for companies in this industry, due to the availability of staff, attractive labor costs and relatively low rates of real estate lease. ProLogis Park in Błonie meets all the needs of this sector."- concluded Zbigniew Smyczyński, leasing manager, Prologis.
