BNP Paribas REIM announces the acquisition of the NEON office building on behalf of the SCPI Accimmo Pierre, from a fund managed by Aberdeen Standard Investment.
With a total floor space of 11,300 sqm, the asset is located in the city of Nanterre in the west of Paris at the heart of the “Docteur Pierre” development program, the historical site which in turn has been a toothpaste factory, former headquarters of the French company Natalys, and now a mixed development scheme hosting a combination of offices, housing and a space dedicated to the social sharing economy.
Located 250 metres from the RER station of Nanterre-Ville and right next to the A14 and A86 motorways, the Neon building is a complex that responds perfectly to the latest corporate aspirations in terms of services and technical features. SPIE BATIGNOLLES has signed a lease for over 60% of the asset.
“Completed in 2017, the five-floor building enjoys outstanding real-estate fundamentals and offers open floor areas of about 2,700 sqm with modern services, a vast planted patio, terraces and dual environmental certification: ‘HQE exploitation and BREEAM Excellent’. It offers a great balance between rent/accessibility/services for occupiers seeking a real-estate solution in the Western Inner Rim” explains Guillaume Delattre, Deputy General Manager of BNP Paribas REIM France.
The buyer was advised by the notary Thibierge, whilst the seller was advised by Oudot & Associés as well as BNP Paribas Real Estate Transaction France.
This latest scheme allows the Accimmo Pierre fund, managed by BNP Paribas REIM France, to round off a great year with €573m invested and €220m secured as of December 31. In addition to the Neon building, several showcase acquisitions of over €100m, have been made on behalf of SCPI, with the Carat 1 signed recently at Châtillon-Montrouge, 49-51 Rue La Boétie in Paris 8th, as well as Dock-en-Seine in Saint-Ouen.
